Input

To achieve the best results with Imagelife, providing high-quality input is crucial. This guide will help you understand how to optimize your input for outstanding outcomes.

High-quality input leads to superior results. You can select from single, 3 exposure, or 5 exposure settings based on your photography style and shooting preferences. Each option has its own benefits, so choose the one that best meets your needs and enhances your uploads.

Single Exposure

This technique uses a single exposure setting to take a photograph. Set the aperture to f/8 or f/9 and ISO between 100 and 400, adjusting only the shutter speed for the desired exposure.

Ideal for simple shots like exterior views or well-lit interiors with even lighting, where the dynamic range is manageable and complex adjustments aren’t needed.

3-Exposure Bracketing

This technique is using 3 photos at different exposures (underexposed, correctly exposed, and overexposed) and merging them to create an HDR image that balances light and dark areas.

Ideal for challenging lighting conditions, like bright windows indoors or sunrise/sunset outdoors, where highlights and shadows require careful management.

5-Exposure Bracketing

This technique is using 5 photos at different exposures (-2, -1, 0, +1, +2 stops) for more detail and smoother transitions between highlights and shadows, revealing intricate details and textures.

Ideal for high-end real estate photography, particularly in complex lighting situations or when showcasing luxurious properties where image quality is crucial.

Each technique offers distinct advantages and challenges, making them ideal for various scenarios in architectural photography. Understanding these methods enables you to select the most effective approach tailored to their client’s specific needs.
